Fall is my favorite season of the year. While I love things about the other three seasons, there is just something intriguing about cozy evenings, cinnamon candles, pumpkins, gourds, s’mores around a bonfire and shortened days. Fall is the season where we begin to turn from outdoor living to spending more time inside, so prettying up your home’s interior for the season is a must.

Decorating for fall often includes a mantel or shelf display, a pretty wreath on the front door and a pumpkin on the steps. But, don’t forget about decorating your dining table for evening family meals and entertaining.

Here are a few lovely fall tablescapes to inspire your decorating this season.

The simplicity of this tablescape is stunning. Pears on each plate, berries, twigs and metallic candle sticks bring together a wonderful harmony of textures and colors.

The highlight of this table is the perfectly-green, textured artichokes. Combined with neutral linens and white pumpkins, the table is beautifully set.

This is such a clever idea to create pumpkin lanterns with votive candles and hurricane shades. The shades can often be found at thrift stores, so this could be made inexpensively.

What could be more natural than an actual log made into a candle holder? With the addition of mini pumpkins, gourds, pinecones, leaves and berries, this centerpiece will last all season long!

The sparkling metallics and chunky candles with warm-toned linens create quite a formal atmosphere for a dinner party. This is fall elegance at it’s finest.

This table is just my style. The branches look like they were just cut and brought inside and everything looks “collected” which I adore.

Those little prickly sweetgum pods are useful for something! The simple acorn tree and sweetgum pod garland are such natural elements that they could be used in either a fancy or casual table setting.

I only make 7 of those things regularly. I def need to start making my own taco seasoning and am working on getting a cheaper raw milk supply to start on the dairy items.

I make homemade Bisquick baking mix. I would love recipes for good yellow, white, and chocolate cake mixes from scratch.

thanks for the links. I have started making up my own baking mix to keep on hand- is very nice to just pull something out of the fridge that is ready to go. I would like to make more of these- will be checking them out.

I’ve made at home Taco seasoning, and chili seasoning. Much better then what you would get at the store.
