I’ll admit that I added “doormat gallery” to the editorial calendar several weeks ago, not really knowing what that would look like, and when I started to work on it this week, I was a little worried that I’d have a hard time finding enough for a gallery. Fortunately, as soon as I searched doormat on Pinterest, I felt like I’d hit the jackpot. So much so that I think Sean was getting a little tired of me saying, “Ooh, look at this one. How about this one?”

     That’s an interesting idea worth checking out. I have used a gadget called a Kill-a-Watt to see how much energy my chest freezer used, but I haven’t tried it on any other appliances. I have heard that DVRs are the greatest offenders.

    Yes!  Sometimes I think I should let all my gadgets run out of juice and then hide all the chargers! :-)
